Fresh Egg’s training for Speed Demon…..wax on, wax off, paint fence

» by November 7th, 2006 at 4:45 pm » Comments (0)

Okay, I don’t know if Rebecca Kelley really uses her nickname “Speed Demon” but it makes for a nifty blog post title.  The wax on, wax off, paint the fence came from Ammon Johns‘ description  of Fresh Egg’s training methods. After reading about her first day at Fresh Egg’s sem seo training I think she’ll definitely [...]

Another look at sem seo associations certification training programs

» by November 5th, 2006 at 4:37 pm » Comments (5)

In my original post about associations offering certification or training, I noted that SEMPO had no position on certification and the only assocation to address the issue was SEOPros. They were endorsing Search Engine College and SEO Research Labs. SEOPros now has their own certification program. Not until the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) launched their [...]

SEMPO launches online search engine marketing training at SEMPO Institute

» by November 4th, 2006 at 4:58 am » Comments (0)

My recent article submitted to Marketing Pilgrim’s SEM Scholarship contest was about sem seo certification and training. Here’s a snippet; Finally, why aren’t the sem seo associations like SEMPO, SMA-NA, SMA-UK, SMA-EU and others taking a stand on sem seo certification or training? Maybe they should develop their own certification or training programs. Rumor has [...]

All this talk about sem seo certification and training is making my head spin. I mean really, there are plenty of companies or individuals that offer training, some good some not so good. Sure you’re gonna learn quite a bit about seo sem and my advice is to attend one of these programs, you’ll learn [...]

SEOmoz sends Rebecca “Speed Demon” Kelley across the pond to Fresh Egg

» by October 23rd, 2006 at 1:09 am » Comments (1)

I blogged about Fresh Egg’s SEO Intern training and scholarship a few weeks back and mentioned that it would be a great opportunity for anyone to spend time with Ammons John aka Black Knight. Well it looks like Rand Fishkin thought the same thing and is sending Rebecca across the pond. Some of the things [...]

SEM SEO Certification Close Up – Search Engine College – Part I

» by October 21st, 2006 at 3:41 pm » Comments (5)

I blogged about a few search engine marketing certification programs earlier and grabbed some info from their respective web pages. I thought it would be a good idea to get a closer look at of some of those and ask a few questions that might not be answered on the website and okay, some that were answered. SEM SEO certification and training closeup [...]

No sem seo certificate but you’ll definitely learn a thing or two or three

» by October 9th, 2006 at 12:13 pm » Comments (0)

Honestly, why sem seo training courses give or don’t give sem seo certification is beyond me. After all there is no sem seo certification board that can approve or disapprove these courses, programs or whatever. Even if there were an approval entity, the value of that certificate is and always will be, I imagine, debated up one side [...]

This band of merry makers is a virtual who’s who list from the seo [...]

» by September 25th, 2006 at 2:27 am » Comments (8)

Not just another SEO certification training program announced and this is focused on interns. Ammon Johns, AKA Black Knight, and Lee Colbran from Fresh Egg are behind this. Looks like a UK centric model and they are keeping it small for a personal touch. A full 2 week course costs a total of £1,000 or [...]
