Search Engine Strategies (SES) will hit Chicago again on December 8-12. I really enjoy SES in Chicago for several reasons. First it’s a smaller conference so it has a more intimate feel. Another reason I liked to attend is since I lived in Minneapolis it was an easy, short, one and a half hour flight. (My last flight to the SES conference in San Jose took 18 hours). Most people also stay in the same hotel as the conference, the Hilton near Grant Park, so it’s easier to get together. The Savoy bar in the hotel is where I’ve met many of my friends and fellow search marketers. It’s also the first conference I spoke at back in 2005. So you can see why I like SES Chicago.
The keynote speakers for Search Engine Strategies Chicago are listed below;
• Lawrence Lessig, the Professor of Law at Stanford Law School, is giving the opening keynote on Monday, Dec. 8;
• Bill Tancer, the General Manager of Global Research at Hitwise, is giving the morning keynote on Tuesday, Dec. 9; and
• Josh James, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Omniture, is giving the morning keynote on Wednesday, Dec. 10th.
Also here’s some additional training that will be available.
Search Engine Marketing Training Workshops:
Search & Analytics Workshop: Using Analytics to Increase Search Effectiveness
Viral Marketing & Link Baiting
Link Building Tactics, Tools & Techniques
Optimizing for Universal Search
In addition there are several other well known speakers. I’m not going to be able to make it, so please say hi to everyone for me. Also if you buy internet marketing management strategy guru David Dalka a drink or two, he might tell you about some great places to eat or drink that aren’t well known to the tourists.
