This is a one day seo workshop for public relations professionals. I learned how important it is to implement seo with your pr efforts from Lee Odden at TopRank Online Marketing and blogger extrodainaire who has been leveraging pr & seo for some time. In fact here’s some of his upcoming speaking gigs.
SEO can do wonders for a company’s brand and reputation or if unchecked can do damage beyond repair. I also know how news can affect a personal brand as I see when googling (sorry Google I couldn’t help using you as a verb) my own name. Unfortunately there is a David Temple being tried for the 1999 murder of his wife. Don’t think I’ll be confused with this guy in any case, but it does prove how important seo is to a brand and the reputation of that brand.
