My last post on memes “Another day, another meme” indicated I was not really excited about answering questions on why I blog or anything else for that matter. In fact I talked myself out of blogging for awhile and concentrated on other things right at a time when I was making wholeseale changes to this blog. (That reminds me, please change your current link to wwww.semscholar.com if you have a link to this blog).

Then along comes a “local meme”. It was passed on to me by my blogging buddy Patrick Schaber, The Lonely Marketer. Love that blog name but Patrick’s obviously not as lonely as he thinks. He was tagged by Paul Jahn of LocalMN.com, a local search marketing guru, and was himself tagged by the originator of this local meme, Aaron Weich of Find Buffalo. That’s Buffalo, Minnesota in case you’re wondering.

The meme is to write “three things about MN ….anything … what you love, what you hate, where you visit, where you party, where you blog from, just keep it Minne-sooo-tan” and pass it on to three other people.

1. Love Battle Creek Park which is in my back yard and all the parks here in MN.

2. Hate winter, or at least most of it.

3. Blog from St. Paul.
