Search engine, search Engine

This is a repost from earlier and no, I don’t think search engines are going the way of the dinosaur. This is more of a rant in the form of an anti ode and a way to call out search engines.  Change is in the air and search engines have to change.  Is Wikiseek the answer? I don’t know but you can bet someone will out google Google and we’ll be looking at a new way to find information on the web. What do you think?

Search engine, search Engine

Search engine,

search Engine

fell on your head.

Search engine,

search Engine

soon you’ll be dead.

All of those bad serps

from spammin’ and stuff

Search engine,

search Engine

when is enough?

Search engine,

search Engine

why all the ads?

Search engine,

search Engine

you’re time is in fads.

I think that as long as there will be the Web, we’ll need search engines. Or do you have another idea to help us find our way on the Net? How are we going to find relevant info if not by typing some keywords in a search box? Aaron Wall has some interesting thoughts on this very topic: http://www.seobook.com/archives/002015.shtml

Good points Mihaela, I agree and that’s why I said search engines have to change. They’ll always be there, they just have to change. That’s why seo will also have to change like Aaron said in the post you pointed out. A Wikiseek may or may not be the next generation.
