Thanks Steven and Will. Both of you did a great job of getting exposure in the forums and other places and finishing near the top. Hope to see you in the next contest.

[...] One clear lesson is the power of social media and in fact the last week’s winning article was “The Five Pillars of Social Media Marketing“. Another lesson was that a link from Stuntdubl, SEOmoz and TopRankBlog turned out to be a great way to get page views since these blogs are all about seo sem, the target audience. This blog also provided a few referrers to other people’s articles. Not a smart move in a contest. I just thought that all the articles should be read. [...]

Hi David,

I agree that all the entries are really good. I've been reading many of them over the last few weeks and still have a ways to go to finish them all.

My entry is the SEO is Nothing but Karma as you know, but I want to echo your sentiments that people read them all. There are a lot of interesting ideas in them and you never know which of the budding SEOs is going to be at the forefront of the next wave.

Of course if you're only going to read one I hope it's mine, but kidding aside all the authors have done a good job. Read the articles and show some love with a comment.
